What is a video source?

Postby mxw » Fri Dec 02, 2011 11:54 am

Hi all,

we are working our way through the specs, and we are working on a open source library based on wxwidgets, continuing the work done on the QT based library from jason warwick / https://github.com/jwarwick/citp-lib

I have a question about the protocol definitions. MSEX / GVSr - GetVideoSources requests "available video source feeds". It is not clear to me, what is meant with the available feeds - are they available live cameras, or running composition layers? Or the final result?

Hi Hendrik,

It's anything that the media server sees fit or interesting! :-)

yes, i figured that out, too. by the way, the demo app is fantastic to get started, it should have more functions ( eg. media server browsing ) and be a little more verbose when it comes to implementation errors =D
